Acne. It is a menace to our faces and even with all the technology around us – there is still no clear solution! Teens and adults alike suffer from acne, of course, some cases are more serious than others. Then there are the few of us who consistently get breakouts at certain times of the month. Proactive has brainwashed us for years about their little medical miracle in a bottle. But for those skin savvy folks – that 3 step process may seem cumbersome and really only helps those that have severe acne problems. ClarityMD on the other hand, is a one step solution that actually works for those that don’t suffer from severe acne.
My skin is pretty balanced, not overall too dry, or greasy. My biggest issues have been breakouts on my chin or around my nose. They happen infrequently, but when they happen, I usually suffer from cyst-like pimples. They are ugly and forget about popping them – it will create a blemish that lasts for days and leaves behind a dark spot. Yes, so very attractive. So I began my search for the perfect cleanser. I tried Aveeno, Clearasil, Clean & Clear, Ponds, Neutrogena, Dove, and so many others that ended up in the trash. What I was looking for was something that would clean my face and not leave it dry, eliminating future blemishes to occur. What happened instead was the opposite; the cleansers I tried created dry skin, redness and more frequent breakouts.
Testing ClarityMD Cleanser was not something I was going to attempt lightly, especially based on past experiences. Thankfully, the cleanser and gel-like consistency lathered up nicely on my face – leaving it refreshed and silky clean. Over several days of use, I didn’t experience redness or even more frequent breakouts. My chin actually cleared up over weeks. Where other cleansers sometimes leave your face with a stingy or tingly sensation, the ClarityMD just left my face feeling velvety and refreshed without any enhanced sensation.
The ClarityMD Deep Pore Cleanser certainly did the job, but I wasn’t overwhelmed with the ClarityMD Clarifying Gel. The two are supposed to be used in unison but the gel didn’t really do much to attack the cyst -like pimples on my chin. Instead just consistently using the ClarityMD Deep Pore Cleanser worked to clean up my face over the course of several weeks, and the good news is that the appearance of new chin pimples have seemed to lessen.
Having good skin never comes cheap and the ClarityMD Deep Pore Cleanser is far from being a bargain. Costing about $24.50, one tube will last you a good three months if you wash your face consistently twice a day. I washed about once a day on average over the course of two months and were every happy with the results. Of course my skin is different than others out there, and results will vary by skin type, but if you suffer from minimal pimples, have fairly even skin, and want something that will maintain your skin and prevent red pimply breakouts – the ClarityMD Deep Pore cleanser is highly recommended.
