I know we’ve been over this before….I’m completely picky when it comes to what I put on my lips, be it lip balm or lipstick. When Amber Dazzle sent me some of their Matte Liquid Lipstick to review, I have to say I was skeptical I was going to like this!
I feel like pretty much all the liquid lipsticks I’ve gone and purchased just let me down and don’t live up to the hype. In fact, my whole issue with liquid lipsticks as a whole is that a lot of them are not easy to apply, end up everywhere, and just don’t last at all. I’m sorry, if I’m going to go through the trouble of artfully trying to apply this to my face, I don’t want to have to keep re-applying it throughout the day or night.
My first impression of Amber Dazzle was that the packaging is so fun and bright and I absolutely love that. I know they say don’t judge a book by the cover, but I really appreciate packaging and details and I think that can really help to elevate a product and your experience as a customer.

As soon as I opened one of these lipsticks up, I was very pleased to see that the applicator is curved and a perfect shape, so that when you start to apply it to your lips it glides right on and doesn’t end up outside where you’re trying to place it. This is ridiculously easy to apply, which is something I appreciate to no end because I’m no makeup artist.
This really goes on smoothly and dries very quickly, so you also won’t have to worry. Once it dries completely, it doesn’t make your lips feel dried out or cakey. It really doesn’t feel heavy…it feels more like you really have nothing but lip balm on.
Another thing worth mentioning? Amber Dazzle Matte Liquid Lipsticks smells like cake!

I’m wearing Amber Dazzle in Love Bite in both photos and that is it. I didn’t have to prep my lips or add on lip balm at all. I tested this out all day and I also tested this out on a date night with my husband and I was thrilled with the actual performance of this product.
This truly is an eye-catching way to pout perfection.
It really doesn’t transfer on you at all. This doesn’t budge for a kiss, and this doesn’t move when you sip your drink. This is one long-lasting liquid and I honestly like this so much I’ll be purchasing it in more colors off the website! There’s a whole rainbow of gorgeous shades.
